I joined freecycle. What a great site. Instead of just trashing things you don't want, there is always someone who might want it. Especially clothes. My kids are constantly growing (i don't know why lol) and it seems like their closets are full of stuff they can't wear.

I don't understand why you would not be able to be hired at a job after filling out 200 applications. That just doesn't sound right to me. You seem like a pretty well educated person just by the way you type. Most people don't even know how to use periods. I can't see why you wouldn't be able to be hired at a fast food restaurant or starbucks. There are many many stupid teenagers that work around here, they never get things right but for some reason they still pay them. Please tell me why you would not be able to find a job. I read so many people's profiles on here saying they are jobless. Really I don't feel sorry for them. If I ever lost my job, I would have one the next day, no doubt. I can't afford to not have a job and would do everything possible to get one. Don't you have any friends that could refer you at their workplace? That is usually the easiest way to get in somewhere. There are so many jobs out there no matter how big or small, at least it's something. Much better than only $200 a month????? How could you live like that???

State child support agencies are a crock. I had to go downtown to get my child support order so I could sign up for Support Kids. Well the lady looking through the files was flipping bench warrant after bench warrant. There was at least 15 that I counted. Is that all they can do is send a stupid piece of paper in the mail where they THINK they live? Oh yeah and when I call the child support agency and tell them I haven't received anything in 4 years, they say "well all we can do is send a work order form" They give the deadbeat 30 days to find a job and prove that he has one and send in some paperwork. Well I have called a few dozen times in the last few years and still nothing. So what else can we do? I hope this Support Kids can do something about it.

Ok you're right cuz i was just reading up on my paperwork they sent me. But look, if the father is so far behind in child support and you're not getting ANYTHING like me, then 34% of something is a lot better than nothing at all. Plus since he's so far behind, they try and collect interest from him, not just what he owes, but a lot more. I for one have nothing to lose in this deal, and i'm glad i read your page cuz right at this moment I am copying the stuff I need and signing away and I'm going to send it out tomorrow.

Support kids charge a fee of like $550 they don't charge a percentage. Thier money goes to them first,then anything after that comes to you. And what's $550 when you're not getting anything at all? And you don't have to pay out of pocket. You should look back into the program. You have nothing to lose and I know how the state programs work...THEY DON'T. They will not go out of their way to get your money but support kids will. I am in the process of applying for support kids so if and when anything happens I will let you know.
